Valuable Longbar Pointe farmland will be terrible loss

Let's never forget that in the coming years, as the water rises, much of the Aqua development will be reluctantly aquamarine.

But even more important is the fact that as the climate changes, the wonderfully rich soil of Longbar Pointe, which for decades has produced vast amounts of edible food for a hungry state, will be utterly lost to macadam, asphalt and concrete foundations.

I grew up on a farm: It will be a terrible loss.
