Below grade manhole covers serious problem in Manatee County, Bradenton

The streets of Bradenton and Manatee County have a serious problem with manholes that are several inches below the street level. Manatee Avenue West and 14th Street West are good examples.

This results in cars swerving to miss them or they can cause a tire to go flat.

I have been a homeowner here on Riverview Boulevard for 30 years and can say that the problem is a very recent problem.

Please pass this message on to the responsible officials who can and will fix the problem before it results in serious damages.
