City of Bradenton's code enforcement is hypocritical
Last year the City of Bradenton decided they would levy a "new tax" on condominium owners. They started charging $20 for permits to remove DEAD TREES (palms) from our properties and required us to get permits to replace them before we could beautify our properties.
They, however, have let our medians lapse into disrepair with dead bushes, dead grass and barren areas around the Pinebrook/Ironwood Golf Course. Officials refuse to come to our meetings when invited so they can look at our areas of complaint.
If they are going to enforce their ridiculous code and take our money, why don't they use that money to fulfill their own obligations to city residents (voters)?
That would be the fair thing to do.
