High Court did not invent Second Amendment rights

In the "Parade" section of the April 17 Herald, Kathleen McCleary introduced Fareed Zakaria as a foreign affairs expert -- which is laughable for anyone who read his ignorant statement in the Washington Post regarding his claim that the Supreme Court in 2008 "invented" an individual's right to bear arms. For someone educated in this country, he must have failed American History.

Is it any wonder that so few people trust the media with a so-called expert totally in error? Perhaps he watched too many movies at Yale, which he said was his "favorite college class."
