Stop insanity of abortion and protect motherhood
Moving toward Mothers Day provides a fitting time to revisit the acceptability of abortion as a destination for pregnancy.
Remember, the original marketing ploy for selling abortion? ("It's just a blob of tissue.") Back then, some may really have believed that.
But certainly abortionists would have seen the truth whenever they performed the procedure. After all, a woman doesn't even suspect she may be pregnant for about four weeks. By the time she visits an abortionist, baby's parts have differentiated far beyond a "blob."
A picture by photographer Robert Wolfe showing a baby at about seven weeks is approximately half the size of your thumb and has some recognizable human features. In 11 weeks she is fully formed.
Being a mother means being the female parent of a member of your own species. Although science has long known the child in his or her first instant is a human being, mothers nowadays also have visual confirmation via ultrasound that their motherhood is already a fact -- before baby's birth ever happens.
Why did Planned Parenthood continually victimize women by withholding or distorting the truth, and trivializing the act of human destruction?
Was this any favor to a hesitant client, who at some point in her later life will have to review what she did to her own offspring under false pretenses?
Aren't businesses expected to understand the product or service they offer, and not to falsify it? Planned Parenthood isn't some little non-profit aiming to help people, but a lucrative nationwide business with annual profit of over $1.25 million -- plus the half-billion dollars it gets from our compliant Congress. Their interest is the bottom line.
Their recent tune is "so what, abortion's legal. And we'll sell body parts, too."
For humanity's sake, let's face the truth and stop this insanity!
