Clinton emails a nonissue; Trump unfit for presidency
Two things have been bothering me: Hillary Clinton's email server and Donald Trump's message of hate.
Hillary had her own email server as did the previous four Secretaries of State. After she resigned from that office, the Department of Justice decided that these servers were not secure and all government emails should be on the government system, a good idea.
The rules were changed after she was out of the office. This woman has undergone hundreds of hours of questioning by the government, and they have found she did nothing wrong. No smoking gun. This is an attempt to make her look untrustworthy with no hard evidence to prove it -- a political move by the Republican Party.
The next issue is more troubling. I want all of our presidents to lead with character, intelligence, knowledge and the temperament to deal with worldly issues.
Candidate Donald Trump is clearly not getting his way. His rhetoric is one of hate. "All of our problems are caused by someone else." (Immigrants, blacks, women, gays, etc.) Sounds a lot like a German we all knew.
Some of his supporters are giving death threats to delegates to the Republican National Convention. The head of his election team said, "We will find you and let people know which hotel room you are in if you are not a Trump supporter ..." -- clearly a threat.
Well, Donald, most people are law-abiding people. We do have some crazies that think you are giving them permission to do violence.
What does Donald say about this? Nothing. He does not condemn this behavior. This is a statement of his character and lack of leadership.
I can't believe some Americans want this narcissistic and really dangerous man for our POTUS. And, yes, I am afraid for those at the convention.
