If gun makers are liable, so are other manufacturers
I find it very interesting that many people profess that the dealers and manufacturers of guns should be liable for the acts of wrongdoers of illegal and shameful actions. Even for those guns that saved lives by self-defense people.
Perhaps they are correct? Let's see now with that thought in mind.
Who else shall we blame for others' misdeeds? I know, let's start with the car dealers and manufacturers for selling their cars to drunks who also commit shameful actions, far exceeding the number of deaths than the gun dealers and manufacturers produce by those committing shameful actions.
Let's not exclude the motorcycle dealers and manufacturers and, of course, the heartless chemical industry that produces things like chemicals which leads to overdose deaths of millions of our youth and elders.
How about blaming those companies that produce the explosives with which our military protects us? Let's sue the tire manufacturers for not making safer tires. While we are on a roll now, let's hold those awful manufacturers and dealers liable for the knifes that cut off fingers and wrongdoers who remove innocent people's heads.
Yes, I think in this perfect world we live in that every manufacturer should be liable for everything. Even for the things that haven't happened yet! Just to be sure and just in case something can or will happen in the future.
