Say goodbye to "gun control."

The recent bombings in Brussels and Paris again point out the lunacy and absolute, total failure of any gun control legislation. In the last six months, there have been more than 70 terrorist attacks throughout Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Malaysia, all by bombings.

Have we forgotten the 200-plus U.S. Marines killed by bombs in their Marine barracks 30 years ago, or Timothy McVey killing 160 American men, women and children in the Oklahoma City Federal Building bombing?

Remember the Una Bomber, the Olympic bombing in Atlanta, and the first bombing of the World Trade Center on Feb. 26, 1993?

The 9/11 attack on the WTC Towers was done by two airplanes loaded with aviation fuel. American Flight 11 carried 81 passengers and 11 crew; United Flight 175 carried 56 passengers and nine crew. All this made it possible to kill over 3,000 U.S. citizens, without firing a shot.

The point is unmistakably clear. The weapon of choice of any terrorist, radical Islamist, or simply deranged or evil criminals is not guns, which result in a much smaller number of victims. History proves bombs kill greater numbers of citizens than guns ever could.

So, where is legislation on banning bombs and legislation on bomb control? Why don't we ban knives, baseball bats, cars, obscene gestures and threatening language, dirty looks, etc.?

Only corrupt and scared totalitarian governments that are dictatorships with a liberal, communist or socialist agenda would ever favor or propose any gun control, because they want to remove the possibility of U.S. citizens revolting and rising up against the present administration

Our Founding Fathers and only a true democracy does not fear its citizens owning guns and encourages gun ownership. It was the colonists' guns which drove out and defeated British troops.
