Hawthorn Park's thanks for Manatee County Comssioner John Chappie's service
Thanks, John Chappie!
The residents of the Hawthorn Park community were saddened to learn that John Chappie, District 3 Manatee County commissioner, has decided not to seek another term as a commissioner.
Therefore, it is important that we sincerely thank John for the outstanding service he has rendered to our community during his eight years as a commissioner. John has consistently responded in a positive manner to the requests for action concerning any community issues involving safety or repairs which required county support or assistance.
We will miss John as both a commissioner and a friend. Hopefully, John will continue to attend the social activities our community conducts yearly.
We also wish to extend our gratitude to the County Citizens Action Center for the outstanding service they provide, not only for our community, but also the entire county. Kaycee and Yvonne do a great job in staffing the center. They are extremely courteous, competent and responsive to questions or requests from citizens seeking help or information concerning county government!
