Now that it's pretty well decided that Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton will fight to the bloody end, it's time for the powers that be in both parties to settle down and make peace within their own ranks.

The Republican leadership needs to back Trump and throw all its strength behind him. Marco Rubio and every other party member needs to fight hard to back him and guide him if he is selected.

Clinton and her party stalwarts must all join hands if they have any hope of winning four more years of liberal party dominance. And above all, the Republican-dominated Congress had better make peace with the president and understand that fighting Obama's Supreme Court nominee is going to further inflame the fight.

Both parties need to give a little and shake hands. A strong USA is more important than a strong elephant or donkey!
