Family of tornado victims give special thanks to many in community for help, support
The family of Steve and Kade Wilson, whose lives were tragically taken in a tornado a few weeks ago, wish to express their sincere thanks to the many neighbors, friends and businesses who so strongly came to the aid of our family during our time of grief in so many different ways.
Neighbors volunteered to care for the small number of animals left helpless after the storm, and many neighbors donated feed. Friends and neighbors helped go through the rubble, searching for personal possessions, and also helped clean up the debris scattered about the area. Thanks to the Mosaic Phosphate Co. for arranging to have dumpsters provided.
A special thanks to the Jerry Dakin Dairy, the Ike Carltons, Claude and Sue Phillips, the John Barnhills, George Perry with Slentz Electric for emergency power, Glen and Kelly with the Florida Rescue Farm, Inc., and to the community in general for their help and support.
To close neighbor Randy Sharp and his family for all of their efforts, time and assistance, a special thank you, and to the many, many others who sent cards, flowers, funds and equipment, we wish to express our warmest thanks.
To the outpouring of friends attending the funeral services, thank you for the show of support for our loved ones.
Our family had no idea that Steve and Kade had touched so many lives, and we were so glad to learn that they were loved by so many. We were so sorry that due to the many friends attending the funeral services, there was not room for many to attend the services inside.
Again, thanks to all -- for the help and support you expressed for Steve and Kade.
From the family of Steve and Kade Wilson.
