Which god gives people the right to openly carry guns like we did in the Wild West? I worship the God of the 10 Commandments, one of which says "Thou shalt not murder."

Where in the Holy Bible does it say God's people may openly carry guns? It is not a God-given right. There are too many people who do not have the maturity and/or do not desire to please God who will be carrying their guns openly.

How can the police protect us against them?

BradentonEditor's note: During a House committee meeting last week where the open-carry bill passed, Rep. Julio Gonzalez, R-Venice, called it "God-given right to openly carry weapons."
