Carlos Beruff unworthy of election to U.S. Senate

Now that Carlos Beruff has warned us that he may run for U.S. Senate, we should consider his accomplishments:

He trashed State College of Florida President Lars Hafner; he instigated the elimination of tenure at the same institution; he cost Manatee County dearly in his self-serving effort to destroy a pristine shoreline at Long Bar Pointe; he gave his developer buddy, Pat Neal, a pass on destroying wetlands for his opulent family compound; he hasn't held an elected public office; and last, but not least, he is a political beneficiary of Rick Scott.

Therefore, Mr. Beruff is perfectly qualified to be a Republican senator.
