Re: Barcarrota Avenue development.

Bradenton Major Wayne Poston is planning another term as mayor. I hope that part of his platform will be the lease of City Hall and the Police Department offices for commercial use.

I could foresee a restaurant or two, a clothing shop, a shoe shop and other shops. I would like readers, including business people, to send a Letter to the Editor about what types of shops they would like and how it would help the City of Bradenton.

If they do put a hotel on the old Manatee Players theater property, what stores would compliment the hotel? Also, business people could contact the city and start discussions of what they have in mind.

If additional parking was provided in the City Hall parking lot, would stores in the existing waterfront parking lot for the library be a possibility?
