Removal of Manatee County large live oaks for project too great a loss
Does Manatee County have a tree ordinance? In Gamble Creek Preserve the builder has been bulldozing/cutting down live oaks with diameters of 2.5 to 3 feet.
I counted six large live oaks removed on the two lots near the walking trail. Just this week they removed another large live oak that was in the path of the driveway.
There are about eight lots cleared in this manner in Gamble Creek Preserve, resulting in the loss of approximately 30 to 40 ancient live oaks in the last year.
Does Manatee County have a tree ordinance? Or does Manatee County not enforce tree ordinances?
