Put Manatee Ave. W.-15th St. W. in Bradenton next in line for flashing yellow left-turn signal

Isn't it great that many traffic lights have been updated in Manatee County with the new flashing yellow left turn instead of a red no-turn signal? What a great fuel, time and emissions savings for our county and personal usage.

We can only hope that they are considering similar upgrades for one of the most congested intersections in our county.

Manatee Avenue West and 15th Street West desperately needs a flashing yellow right-turn signal. The eastbound lanes are always backed up during the day due to little or no southbound traffic at this intersection.

Many times traffic is backed up to 20th Street West, even 26th Street West, and at night it is rare that there is any traffic going southbound. Let's keep the modernization going.
