Support Anna Maria Island boat tour company as a good community friend
Sherman Baldwin has every right to be proud of Paradise Boat Tours, as he noted in a recent letter to the editor. Capt. Sherman and his crew indeed are ambassadors to Bradenton Beach and Anna Maria Island.
The true merit of Paradise Boat Tours, however, is demonstrated through the philanthropy of its owner.
Friends of DeSoto National Memorial Inc. salutes Capt. Sherman and Paradise Boat Tours.
Capt. Sherman has donated thousands of dollars to Friends of DeSoto Inc., and through his generosity has helped the Friends fund numerous events at DeSoto National Memorial. Those events include, but are not limited to, the annual Desoween event and the recent winter luminary walk. The Feb. 27 concert on the lawn is another Friends-supported event. Park events are free and open to the public.
Friends of DeSoto National Memorial (www.friendsofdesoto.org) is a private, non-profit organization created to support the National Park Service's DeSoto National Memorial. Its success depends on contributions of people and organizations like Capt. Sherman and Paradise Boat Tours. Please remember Paradise Boat Tours, based on the Bradenton Beach Pier, when you have a desire for a relaxing cruise on the beautiful waters that grace our area.
Your support of Capt. Sherman and Paradise Boat Tours, by extension, supports your community.
