Meadowlark Lemon was a great Harlem Globetrotters legend. He was known as the "Clown Prince of Basketball." (Lemon passed away at age 83 on Sunday in Arizona.)

His blend of hook shots and humor brought enjoyment to millions of fans around the world. He played for the Globetrotters from the mid-1950s to the late 1970s. He was inducted into the Basketball Hall of Fame in 2003.

In 1986, he founded Meadowlark Lemon Ministries in Scottsdale, Ariz. He became an ordained minister and motivational speaker, touring the country to meet with children at basketball camps and youth prisons. He was more than a Harlem Globetrotters legend rather than a minister.

We'll remember Meadowlark Lemon as a great Harlem Globetrotters legend always and forever.

Meadowlark Lemon is the greatest Harlem Globetrotters star of all time.

Meadowlark Lemon, RIP.
