Max Boot, a conservative fellow at the Council of Foreign Relations and a Marco Rubio advisor, has tweeted: "Trump is a fascist. And that's not a term I use loosely and often. But he has earned it."

Is Max Boot right? A perusal of the Dr. Lawrence Britt's on line "The 14 Defining Characteristics of Fascism" suggest that he is.

In any event, Donald Trump's scapegoating of Mexicans and Muslims is abhorrent.

Kudos to presidential candidate Bernie Sanders. He has observed: "What somebody like Trump is trying to do is divide us up. A few months ago we were supposed to hate Mexicans and now we are supposed to hate Muslims. That kind of crap is not going to work in the United States of America."
