Gun restrictions sensible for public safety
I feel I must question Mr. Kraner's letter on guns. I come from a family of hunters, and none of them use assault rifles for hunting. They were made for killing people. That statement is just dumb.
Then the shotguns, also used for hunting, what are you hunting -- people. A real hunter usually uses a bow. Makes it a bit fairer and more challenging.
I question his numbers. Many more than 248 were killed with automatic weapons.
Pistols are easier to conceal, but are just as dangerous. No war on women, just tired of their children being shot by fools with guns. Guns kill with people firing them.
You want guns, go get them. Learn how to use them, but keep them safe.
I also did not see the number of people who had guns taken away from them and used to kill them. Guess these don't count.
Be a responsible gun owner and the so-called liberals will leave you alone. Stop allowing your children to have access to your guns so that they can shoot other children. That's what gun control is about.
If you are on the no-fly list, why is it OK for them to buy guns? That is just plain stupid. Be responsible. Take responsibility for your actions and you will be fine. Keep your guns, buy your ammo and wait for the attack; 355 mass shooting, in one year, in America is not acceptable, at least not for this liberal.
