Keep illegal immigrants, terrorists out of U.S.

Build bridges, not walls? What a good idea, John Steinmeyer (Letters, "Build bridges, not walls, to people fleeing desperation," Dec. 12). Because Donald Trump wants to put me and my family first -- ahead of illegal immigrants and Muslim refugees -- he has got my vote.

Veterans cannot get the care they need because Obama puts illegals and refugees ahead of American citizens. Building "safe zones" over there where these Muslim refugees live, complete the double-security fencing we have already paid for on the southern border.

Illegal immigrants and Muslim refugees automatically receive Social Security, healthcare, food stamps and public housing. This is draining the life out of our way of life, not to mention the terrorists that are sneaking in along with the refugees.

Tell the Mexican government if they don't help stop the illegal invasion across our southern border, we will stop the billions of dollars we give them every year and stop all their delivery trucks from coming into our country.

Trump is right. Until we get our immigration system cleaned up, stop all immigration ... period, until we do. We have to protect American citizens first and to heck with everyone else.
