On the eve of the old Manatee Players building being torn down, and as season ticket holders for many years, we felt it time to give our heartfelt thanks to those who have been involved with the theater for so long.

Last evening (Friday) we attended the new Manatee Performing Arts Theater and thoroughly enjoyed the presentation of "The Little Mermaid." The time the performers put into each show must be overwhelming. The effort to make underwater scenes was truly amazing and the costumes were beautifully done.

Every year we are amazed at the quality of the performances by our local talent, and we feel that Bradenton is truly blessed to have such a wonderful theater here in our midst.

We loved the old theater with all its "creaks and cracks," but we are fortunate to have the spirit of the old come alive and well in the new "Manatee Performing Arts Theater."

Thank you from the bottom of our hearts to all who have been involved.

Continuing patrons and admirers,

Gene and Jane Mittel

Bradenton
