Republicans cannot be blamed for Planned Parenthood attack

The attack on the Planned Parenthood center in Colorado has inspired the left-wing segment of society to blame Republicans and pro-life believers for the action of a demented individual. There has been no connection made between that individual and any group that is accused of inspiring such an attack.

The reasoning used to support the conclusion of who to blame is based on the disclosure by the groups claiming Planned Parenthood was charging fees for fetal tissue donated for scientific experimentation. Apparently disclosing the conduct in which they are engaged is the catalyst for attacking them.

Perhaps it is the conduct of Planned Parenthood that moves demented individuals to act and not the conduct of those who disclose the works done. If ignorance of their conduct would prevent such attacks, much violence could be avoided by keeping secret controversial conduct.

That is contrary to the observation of Enrico Fermi, who said, "It is no good to stop knowledge from going forward. Ignorance is never better than knowledge."

If, as one news source reported, the attacker held some kind of animosity toward President Obama, using the rational of those passing judgment on others, the blame is on President Obama.
