Steube gun bills bad for Fla., leading to voter remorse

When I first read about Rep. Greg Steube proposing legislation for open-carry permits, I couldn't believe it. Now they want to arm college students with open permits.

In his Nov. 25 letter to the editor, Phil Moore told it like it is. Kudos to Mr. Moore.

I don't understand Mr. Steube's reasoning. After serving in the military and over 30 years in law enforcement, I know that the laws they propose are not good for Florida or any place else.

I had voted for Mr. Steube in the past because I felt he came from a good background, served in the military and had good judgment. Boy, did I make a mistake. Not to worry, I won't make that mistake again.
