Kudos to Dr. Conard, other Remote Area Medical volunteers for free clinic

Every approaching holiday we're reminded to donate to toy and food drives for the unfortunate. Year after year the outpouring is commendable.

What a great gift to those receiving treatment and a host of additional benefits from the RAM clinic held Nov. 21-22! Hats off to Dr. Dick Conard and all the other physicians, health professionals and volunteers who made the medical clinic possible. Hopefully it will be repeated on an annual basis.

Manatee Technical College should also be applauded for its foresight and participation.

Now let's make an effort to reach out to our elderly, lonely neighbors who need a visit, a hug and our concern. God bless you all.
