In 1914, Florence Lawrence invented the "automobile signal arm," which was re-invented to the turn signal we use today. With all the traffic in Florida, and across the country, I think it's time someone reminded you, the drivers, that it is located on the left side of your steering wheel.

It usually comes with your wiper switch. It is the law that every time you change lanes or turn right or left, you need to use this cute little thing.

Drivers behind you are not mind readers! With the busiest driving season upon us, please use your indicators!

Another useful tip is to look in your side mirrors before jumping in front of someone. Bumpers today are plastic and won't save you from injury.

For those not familiar with Florida laws, when it rains, turn on your headlights. It's the law!

I hope this friendly reminder saves a life. It could be mine!
