I am so tired of the climate change letters from know-it-alls who profess knowledge of the subject, then go on to tell us the earth has gone through warming and cooling cycles since its formation. This is the argument they use to deny climate change. Wrong argument, so stop making it.

We all know the earth has gone through cold and warm cycles. That is not the issue. The issue is the CO2 our lifestyles are putting into the atmosphere when we are already in a warm cycle, thus compounding the problem. The issue is, we are making this unusual warm cycle much worse because of industrialization, power usage and car emissions.

Is there a soul out there who thinks the weather patterns have not gotten worse and the climate change is melting the icecaps? The time for action is now. Does it cost extra money? Of course. Doesn't everything that is important cost money? Our energy policy cannot be "drill baby drill" for more oil. The answer is in alternative power sources and managing what we use now.

It is discouraging to me that the head of the Scientific Committee in Congress doesn't "believe" in climate change. Just another moron running our government.
