Aching heart for Janiya: I have been looking at the picture of Janiya every day and hoping it haunts the state Department of Children & Families, the Manatee County Sheriff's Office, and case workers every day for the rest of their lives.

Her picture and story should be posted in every government office throughout the state.

Where is Gov. Rick Scott's outrage to correct the continuous system of abuse of children?

All of these departments are just as responsible for her death and others involving families that perpetrate such abuse. Shame on all of them trying to protect their jobs and hiding behind their desks.
