Jeb Bush, GOP hold a double standard on keeping us safe

Let me state outright that I would not vote for Donald Trump for president. Having said that, I believe his question/statement that President George W. Bush did not keep Americans safe during his administration was 100 percent right on.

All happened on his watch, and then he and his hawkish administration sent our American citizens into a war that never should have happened. Shock and awe was a waste of human life, money and a stabilized Middle East.

So I ask how did President George W. Bush keep Americans safe?

Then at the same time Jeb Bush questioned Hillary Clinton and the horrible, yet inevitable killing of our ambassador and three members of his security force. The Republican Party has spent millions (wasted money) attempting to blame the Obama administration and Hillary Clinton for Benghazi.

Republicans enjoy using double standards and changing history to make themselves appear as the only true keepers of American citizens.

Libya was an unstable country with no permanent government in place when Ambassador Christopher Stephens accepted the position to return to Libya. He knew what he was going to face yet chose to go anyway!

So I say if the Republicans/Jeb Bush choose to go after the Obama administration/Hillary Clinton over four lives lost, then it is fair game to go after the George W. Bush administration for the loss 3,000 lives on 9/11.

George Bush did not keep American safe; Jeb Bush is wrong again as is the Republican Party.
