Lack of Social Security check increase a travesty

So now the U.S. government is telling us that we are not going to get a Social Security increase next year because gas prices are low. Was it not just a few years ago, when we did not get an increase and gas prices were very high, that they told us that the elderly do not drive very far? How soon do they think we forget?

So much for the Democrats being "for the poor and low income people."
