Cedar Hammock praised for helping Manatee substance abuse coalition

The Manatee County Substance Abuse Prevention Coalition would like to thank the Cedar Hammock Fire Rescue for donating $1,000 toward drug prevention efforts.

Capt. Joe Falcone, Lt. Doug Brett and firefighters Eddie Anderson, Brant Gomez and Mike Dunn won the finest vs. bravest hoagie building contest, at the grand opening of the 700th Wawa store in West Bradenton.

They donated their grand prize to their favorite charity!

MCSAC is proud to be the recipient of that donation and would like to again thank the brave men and women at Cedar Hammock for their support. Thank you for all you do in the community.
