Sinking gas prices should help food bill; yeah, right
Just a couple of years ago when gas prices were closing in on $4 a gallon, all the grocers cried and whined and went up on groceries 15-25 percent. And that's when things like ice cream and mayonnaise came in reduced-size containers but yet remained at the same price. OK, gas is currently heading south of $2 a gallon! So where is some relief? Don't hold your breath.
