State College of Florida trustees wrong on eliminating tenure
I started evening classes at Manatee Junior College in 1973. At that time I was a totally messed up young Vietnam vet. MJC turned my life around and I have always been very grateful.
The abolition of tenure at the State College of Florida (formerly MJC) is a political stunt that will harm the school. If it was a good idea, all major state schools would be doing it.
Our community deserves better.
