Special thanks to medical team at Bradenton's Blake Medical Center for great surgical care

All too often the good work of others goes unnoticed or unacknowledged. I would like to take this opportunity to say "thank you" to the great outpatient staff at Blake Medical Center.

Surgery is often a scary and frightening ordeal for the patient. My experience last week at Blake was neither, thanks to the team assembled on my behalf.

From my pre-admission meeting with Jennifer W. to my pre-op preparation with Connie to my operating room RNs Chris Hall and Sally to my post anesthesia recovery with Tabitha, and my recovery and discharge time with Anne K. and Rob, I was treated with compassion and respect.

I was put totally at ease, as I shared a few laughs with my anesthesia team, and I certainly can't say enough about my doctor, Marion Pandiscio, and her partner, who together performed the surgery.

Kudos to all. I am so grateful to have had such a professional and caring team take care of me. Thank you to all.
