At this point, nothing can make Donald Trump look presidential | Letter to the editor
Dear Mr. Trump:
I watched you asking a reporter to remove his mask. When he said he would prefer keeping it on, you actually made the comment that you guessed he was trying to be “politically correct.”
What in the world does that have to do with wearing a mask? While I am no longer surprised about your behavior in any scenario, I was shocked that you would try to ridicule someone who is doing their part in attempting to fight COVID-19. I am aware that we don’t really know if wearing a mask may prevent individuals from getting the virus, but it should be obvious to you that the mask at least provides some protection to catching or transmitting this disease.
Will it take more than 100,000 Americans dying to make you care more about the citizens you are supposed to represent, than it is about your “looking presidential.” Believe me, sir, at this point, I do not believe there is anything that can do that.
