Why limit how much time I can park at the beach? | Letter to the editor

What is the reason and justification for a two hour parking limit at the public beaches of Bradenton Beach, Manatee Beach and Coquina Beach?

Why prohibit parking at public beach access locations? For those of us who must drive, this “rule” limits time to enjoy the beach. Those who live within walking distance are not affected! How is this right?

Don’t tell me it’s to promote “social distancing.” I can do that on the beach without government guidance or dictate.

Either drop the parking limit or place a limit on everybody who goes to the beach.
