Trump cares more about Americans than the media do | Letter to the editor

My neighbor gave me a copy of your paper yesterday. I had considered subscribing when I saw what dire need you were in for money to keep your paper going. But after reading it, I must say I was appalled to see the piece on “Trump doesn’t want vital oversight of COVID-19 relief,” by Joe Biden and Elizabeth Warren.

If big businesses need tax cuts, give it to them. Everyone needs help during this pandemic, even some big businesses. If it weren’t for them, where would our country be? We need them to hire millions of Americans. Big businesses pay a lot more than the Mom and Pop businesses, and with many more benefits.

I realize most newspapers and television stations are Democratic run but good grief. I honestly don’t know what more Trump could have done for the American people during this disaster. If it wasn’t for his administration, families wouldn’t be getting that big $600 a week unemployment check, more than most of them get for working. And they wouldn’t have gotten that $1200+ check.

No matter what he does to help us, all of the liberals are on his back. It just makes me sick to listen to it day after day. And then to see you print that piece of garbage! Joe Biden can’t even put two sentences together and you want him to be our next president! Needless to say, I will not be subscribing, or even reading anything else you publish.

I’m sick of hearing all the negativity towards “OUR” president. The media has no sense of American loyalty anymore. It’s all about “get this Democrat into the office, no matter how stupid he is!” None of you care about the American people anymore. Sickening!
