Despite COVID-19 critics, Trump and DeSantis are working hard to save lives | Letter to the editor

As I read the Letters to the Editor and all the negative letters criticizing the administrations, i.e. our governor and our president, it is very disappointing to see how politics overwhelmingly overshadow truth.

Gov. Ron DeSantis and President Donald Trump have risen above politics to try to win the war against this virus. The medical situation in which the USA finds itself is not because of any one American’s negligence. On the contrary, as an unknown has arisen in our nation (the virus) our leaders are trying their best to tackle the unpreparedness in which our nation has found itself in order to meet its medical obligation to each citizen.

Criticism should be a positive vehicle to better our nation in this time of crisis, not a constant political dagger into the soul of the people who are truly trying their best. Remember that these leaders were elected by our people to represent us, and their administration is composed of people who are giving their best for all of us. Try to be less critical and see the large conscientiousness of those who are trying. Do not judge lest you be judged and please understand that you or the person you did vote for (who was not elected) is not the person at the wheel. When the time comes, then use your voting power to manifest your desires. If you win then, be glorified, but if you lose, attune yourself to the will of the nation.

AS citizens of the USA, think positive . Campaign and rally thank yous for those that are medically working day and night; trying their best so the virus can be defeated and lives saved.
