Here is why I am voting for Joe Biden in the presidential primary.

I think of myself as a progressive and I believe in the progressive platform of Medicare for all, climate change, and other proposals, but we are at a where we need to return to stability rather than raise the gauntlet for major change. Joe Biden represents that stability more than any other candidate.

The country needs to get back to the place we were before Donald Trump became president and eroded our standing with our allies, eroded our standing against human rights violations in countries such as China, North Korea, and Russia, eroded our opposition to oligarchies and kleptocrats that undermine democracy for their people, eroded our platform on immigration, and eroded our platform on climate change, just for starters.

Joe Biden has been involved in all these issues and understands the consequences of the erosion. Joe Biden has worked with politicians on both sides of the aisle and is well liked by many Republicans. There are certainly many Republicans who feel so afraid to speak up against the current administration for fear of backlash that they will vote across the aisle to end the bullying and tyranny of King Trump.

Joe Biden is the most electable on all fronts to steer this country back on the right track. If anyone can refute any of this and point to another candidate that represents more of a return to stability please speak up and write your own letter. We certainly need young and fresh politicians to make major changes in this country but now is not the time.

Trump promised to drain the swamp but instead has created a larger bog into which he has drawn the entire Republican Party.

And he is afraid of Joe Biden!
