‘Never Trumpers’ have many good reasons to oppose President Trump | Letter to the editor
I am a “Never Trumper” and I am proud of it!
I have been a Never Trumper since I saw him with my own eyes ridiculing a disabled reporter, and listened with my own ears as he dismissed the heroic acts of Senator McCain and the parents of a young man who had just given his life for our country. Almost every single day, there has been evidence of Trump’s manic behavior – and sadly we do not need fake news to prove this.
I believe Donald Trump is corrupt in every part of his life, and I believe that he is mentally unfit to be president. His actions prove him to be erratic, narcissistic, addicted to lying and a bully. I’ve been disappointed again and again . Just when I thought he might turn things around (he was very good presenting the State of the Union, the bill he passed for kidney transplant donors is excellent, and I even loved the day he went on a stage and hugged the American Flag.) But can you imagine a president of the United States being petty enough to call people names in an effort to insult them? Is he so skin-thinned and unsure of himself that he can’t handle anyone criticizing or disagreeing with him? The huge number of people who have been fired or who have resigned during his administration answers this question.
Many pro-Trumpers are probably saying, “Well, she never liked him and she never will.” OK, that is a fair statement. But I am asking each of you to look at the facts of this man’s actions and read and listen to his words for the last three years. Can you honestly tell me that this is what you signed up for when you voted for Donald Trump?
