Have you seen Wares Creek lately? It’s worse than ever

Have you taken a ride lately past Wares Creek at low tide? Well, you should. Drive down Virginia Drive and see the worst collection of sand and silt. It’s worse than it was before the dredging project.

They say they have a yearly contract to have it dredged out once a year. It was never dredged out properly, and the new bridge that was supposed to redirect the water is not working and needs to be fixed to redirect the water properly. This was a boondoggle. It needs to be done correctly. The flooding is even worse now.
