Red-light cameras victimize us through ‘blackmail’

Herald file photo

Red-light cameras do not save lives. They financially victimize the hard-working citizen and bring little money to the city. The money goes to the vendor and political kickbacks, in my opinion.

I was a victim. I didn’t come to a COMPLETE stop before a right on red. No horns blowing, no “close call,” no danger to anyone. When I received the ticket, I felt like I was being robbed through blackmail!
