DeSoto Square mall needs a grocery store

I read the very nice article in the Bradenton Herald regarding all the plans that are in the works for bringing DeSoto Square mall back to life. It sounds to me like this company has the money and the know-how to make it happen, and it certainly would be a place that I would shop on occasion, even though I don’t live close by.

Might I suggest that one thing this mall sorely needs is a grocery store of some sort, small, if nothing else fits into their plans. I’m sure the people in close proximity would appreciate a place to shop like they had when Publix was in Cortez Plaza. Good luck, hope it all works out for everyone’s sake.
