Public should be allowed to enjoy Point Pleasant

This letter concerns the unpleasant situation that is developing over a fence and piled rocks at end of Point Pleasant.

I am a snowbird who has owned at River Oaks Condos for 14 years. I like to wade fish and generally enjoy nature.

I have visited the end of Point Pleasant at least 250 times via both land and water. I am very, very careful of where I put my feet because of rocks, stingrays, oyster shells and fire ants.

I have never seen a syringe nor any sort of misbehavior or heard any loud noises.

Any people I have seen or met seemed to be like me — simply enjoying themselves or perhaps winding down after a hectic day.

I think public should be able to continue to enjoy Point Pleasant.
