I looked forward to watching the annual Country Music Awards program for some family-style entertainment. But it seems the “entertainers” couldn’t keep from making political statements and sarcastic slurs against our current Administration.

There used to be a time when I could find some space to escape from the worries and strife of current events, and just relax and enjoy some good talent. The last few times I’ve chosen to watch awards shows, I’ve heard political attacks against Republicans.

These people are being paid to “entertain.” I guess it will be harder for me to remain a fan, and I’ll be finding other people to admire and enjoy.
