Palmetto business shows neighborly kindness during Irma

This is a “thank you” to recognize a great and caring neighbor in Palmetto, which is Baker’s Auto Body on 9th Street West.

A branch broke off a tree on Baker’s property during the storm of Irma, and damaged my daughter’s roof and electrical connection, which is adjacent to their property.

Baker’s offered to correct the problem and did so by repairing the roof and electrical connection. They also ran an electrical line to my daughter’s house, providing her with needed power for most of her appliances.

Again, my daughter and I thank Baker’s for being such a caring neighbor and business.
