At 83, she still bikes daily. When she needed help, other cyclists were there.
I am a daily cyclist at age 83. I had a flat tire three miles from my home. After walking my bike for two miles, a small group of cyclists broke off of their group, to give me help with my bicycle.
Some rejoined their group, but three gentlemen and a lady stayed to repair my tire. I am so grateful to the people who helped me, as I was running out of steam due to the severe arthritis in my knees.
I wish I could do something nice for these kind people who made my return home much easier. I will try to pass on their kindness to someone else, but my sincere thanks goes out to this foursome for their time and effort to help me.
