Criminal politicians have corrupted the Constitution
James Madison said, “If men were angels, no government would be necessary.” Teddy Roosevelt said, “Ours is a government of liberty by, through and under the law. No man is above it and no man is below it.” These words of two great Americans describe the basis for our civil society. Unfortunately, over the decades, dishonest politicians have been destroying our society.
Our country is ruled by addictions. Most Americans think the most powerful addiction in the United Stated is drugs or alcohol or nicotine. In my opinion, the most powerful and dangerous addictions are money and power. This quote from French economist Frederic Bastiat sheds light on those addiction: “Legal plunder has two roots: One of them is in human greed; the other is in false philanthropy.”
These addictions are evident first in the expectation of citizens that government’s responsibilities are to provide for them using the people’s taxes. Second, is the constant misuse of taxes by criminal politicians creating riches and power over their decades in office.
One of the greatest misconceptions of Americans is large government creates a better life. We are completely clueless to two facts. First, the most expensive way to do anything is to assign it to the government. Second, our liberty shrinks with every new law and every new government job. We are also unaware that most of the activity of the federal government is outside the original authority of the Constitution and belongs to the states. This was anticipated by the founders and flagged under 9th and 10th amendments.
Our liberty is shrinking and can only be saved by a Convention of States to amend the Constitution to undo the fraudulent changes created by our criminal politicians. Demand your state representative and senator join the convention of states to stop this tyranny.
