Woodland Village creates a retirement oasis

On 10 acres beneath 100-year-old oaks, just off 301 Boulevard East in Oneco, sits Woodland Village. This retirement community is home to 180 residents who live in a community that may be the last of its kind.

Each resident has a spacious apartment with its own screened patio. The residents, the management and the staff have a special bond as we travel through daily life together.

Woodlands offers a long list of amenities: beautiful main lobby, daily trips, chapel services, exercise room, game rooms, library, laundry rooms, beauty shop, post office and our own Woodlands Country Store offering 200 items run solely by Woodlands residents. We have a lovely pond with a fountain, duck house and resident ducks.

Woodlands offers a spacious dining experience for its residents. At breakfast, lunch and dinner there is a camaraderie among the residents. The chatter as we enjoy our meals together is heartwarming.

There is no worry about elevators as Woodlands meanders from our main lobby along 10 halls, housing 20 apartments in each section. Each section has a resident ambassador to assist newcomers to the community.

What a hidden treasure right here in Oneco, Bradenton!
