Russian investigations continue only for the Democrats
When I first heard that some Democrats claimed that Hillary Clinton lost the election because the Trump campaign colluded with the Russian government to throw the election, I thought the idea was preposterous. Now after a year of investigations and hearings, with no sign of this collusion, I doubt that even the Democrats believe it.
But the investigations continue. This serves three purposes: 1. They will continue through the future elections and cause some people to vote Democrat. 2. Some less important charge might be indicated. 3. Attention to this will help keep President Trump from accomplishing his objectives.
In his testimony, former FBI Director James Comey said there is strong evidence that the Russians did attempt to interfere in the election, but no indication that the Trump campaign was involved, or that any votes were changed. The Russians were able to hack into the DNCC computer. When the FBI asked permission to examine this computer, it was denied. If the Democrats are so concerned about Russian interference, why did they hinder the investigation?
Hillary has a dozen or more other excuses for losing the election (none involve Benghazi or secret emails). Will we have Congressional investigations into these? I suggest that we rather investigate the Obama administration’s interference into the Israeli election.
